India beat Pakistan in an amazing T20 World Cup game on Sunday. India won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 151/7 from their 20 overs. Pakistan were then bowled out for 147 in reply, with Arshdeep Singh taking 3/32. The win was India's first in a T20 World Cup match against Pakistan, and it moves them to the top of Group 2.
Pakistan's openers, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, got off to a slow start, scoring just 4 runs off the first 13 balls. Arshdeep Singh then dropped a short delivery, which Rizwan hit for a four. However, Rizwan was caught by Virat Kohli at mid-on in the next over, and Pakistan were 12/1.
Fakhar Zaman and Shan Masood then put on a 50-run partnership, but both batsmen were dismissed in quick succession, leaving Pakistan 62/3. Mohammad Nawaz and Iftikhar Ahmed then added 40 runs for the fourth wicket, but Nawaz was caught by Rohit Sharma at long-on in the 16th over. Pakistan were then bowled out for 147 in the 19th over, with Arshdeep Singh taking 3/32.
